"Beauty and the Beast" is a widely known fairy tale about an unusual meeting between a terrifying Beast and a young beauty, whose innocence and sincere compassion manage to break a long-caste curse and make the Beast once again become what he once was - a beautiful young Prince...

The piece written by Nicholas Stuart Gray in the middle of the last century, based on this fairy tale, tells this story from a slightly different point of view than the one familiar to the young "Disney" audience. It transports us from this time and space to some long-forgotten corner where, in an exciting environment of castles and wild nature inhabited by some different creatures, the story of magic and sorcery takes place... This version of the fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast" is incredibly fresh, but although is drinkable and fun, it's full of serious and touching parts, and of course, it's very exciting and dramatic.

Milan Karadžić directed dozens of fairy tales at the "Boško Buha" Theater, some of which were written by Nicholas Stuart Gray. His knowledge of this genre, and his enjoyment of it, promise great joy for the children's audience, but its adult followers.

This time, too, Milan gathered its permanent collaborators: Ivana Dimić as a playwright, composer Aleksandar Lockner, costume designer Zora Mojsilović, and set designer Boris Maksimović. The stage movement is set by Marija Milenković, and the stage speech is by Dijana Marojević. The main roles are played by Nemanja Oliverić, Bojana Stojković, Anja Pavićević, Đorđe Kadijević, Branislav Platiša, Jana Bjelica and Ivana Zečević.
